During my time at Berry College, I developed a strong foundation in social media strategy, analytics, and audience targeting through both coursework and applied projects.

Gerber Social Media Team

Through COM 321, I worked on a full social media strategy project for Gerber, which included:

  • Social media audit

  • Strategic brief development

  • Social listening and audience research

  • Metrics tracking and analysis

  • Influencer strategy planning

  • Content planning and calendar creation

Hester's Heritage Marketing Team

Through MKT 424, I worked on marketing communications for a local non-profit called Hester's Heritage. This included:

  • Brand and buyer identity development

  • Brand kit and media kit creation

  • Social media content planning

Social Media Video Editing

While working at Berry's Marketing Department, I edited many informational videos for Berry College social media accounts.

Additionally, while in multimedia classes in the Communication department, I edited study abroad social media videos.

  • 13,526 total views from 4,265 viewers

  • 8.4k views over a 4-month period

  • 102 new followers

  • 4.4% engagement rate

marketing strategy, SEO, and Web Development

My coursework in marketing and communication focused heavily on strategy development, audience analysis, and digital content creation. In MKT 427, particularly in SEO and SEM strategies and blog writing.

This included a full blog and strategy project for Nitro Bar, where I focused on keyword development, brand voice and messaging, and content structure for audience engagement.

Through this coursework, I developed:

  • Blog content using SEO and SEM strategies

  • Benchmarking and message design analysis

  • Brand-focused blog strategy with keyword research

Graphic Design and Brand Development

Through graphic design coursework and applied projects, I developed the ability to create cohesive brand identities and visual systems that communicate clearly and professionally.

Through graphic design coursework, I created logo designs, brand identity systems, color palettes, chosen typography, advertising materials, and print designs.

These materials were based on branding guidelines, strategized beforehand.

Photography has been both a long-standing passion and a developed skill through my coursework at Berry. My education allowed me to refine both technical and creative aspects of photography across multiple styles and applications.

Through photography courses, I developed skills in:

  • Lighting and composition

  • Studio photography and headshots

  • Detail and feature photography

  • Product and advertising photography

  • Real estate photography

These experiences directly led to my current photography services, including branding and headshot sessions, real estate photography, and wedding photography.
